Setup fee and minimum order quantity
At OUMAN we've decided to make things as easy as possible for all client types and to absorb many of the costs involved in custom branding, from free Setup for Embroidery and DTF prints, as well as reduced rates for sublimation Print Cut and Make services.
Why do we absorb these costs?
As a branding service provider and blank apparel supplier, we would rather be busy and help our clients serve their industries, than have this barrier, and out price the clients that would benefit the most from the service. Small business, resellers and larger companies that need to find suppliers but don't want to risk large order minimums, on quality they don't know.
We will take the knock with the hope that helping our clients and allowing easy access to our services to larger businesses will result in repeat orders.
What is a setup fee and what does it cover?
Setup fees cover various actions of the business to get your print ready for the chosen application. For example if you want Embroidery, the design has to be hand traced, with various stitch density, type, angle and color selection. We also have to do a test stitch to make sure the design looks right in real life.
For DTF or textile printing, the provided file needs to, in the case of DTF, have all transparent pixels removed or made full opaque, this is to prevent the white ink that is used as a base and to help with the adhesive powder. leaving transparent pixels will result in white ink peaking through the print edges and show white spots or in some cases a white border.
Patches and badges need custom mold created which are either 3d Printed or CNC'd from aluminum.
Screen Printing needs screens to be burnt-in, a process that takes quite a bit of time and costs in emulsion, cleaning and screen life span.
